Puffco Plus
The Puffco Plus is an upgrade from the Puffco Pro, in fact it’s a completely different design, with it’s dart cap, fully ceramic oven, and advanced airflow, Puffco released a unit that is ready to compete in the big leagues of concentrate vaporization. They did away with the coil from the Pro, the Puffco Plus has an all ceramic wax chamber that increases the flavor in every hit and conserves your wax better than the Pro did. Priced at around $100 this concentrate pen is in my opinion one of the best options on the market and hands down a steal at it’s price range.

Design
The Puffco Plus is an ascetically pleasing wax vaporizer, with it’s futuristic chrome like design and it is engineered to be just as efficient as it’s sleek sexy look. It’s broken down to 3 pieces the 510-thread battery, the atomizer and the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece has a unique dart cap that limits splash back of your waxy product through the mouthpiece and it’s made completely of ceramic so it can easily be used as a dab tool to load and pack your waxy products. It’s advanced airflow design, complimented by the dart cap and ceramic chamber, locks in and seals vapor to give you a conduction/convection feel while using the device. The atomizer also known as the oven/chamber, is designed to be way more efficient than the Pro was. Unlike the Pro, the Plus is coil less nor does it have a heating dish at the bottom of the chamber/oven, the entire bottom of the ceramic chamber/oven heats up for efficient use of your product. The cloud power button on the front of the Plus doubles as a preset temperature gauge as well as powering the device and it’s chamber/oven. The plus has three color presets for temperature as follows:
Green = Low 3.6V
Blue = Medium 3.9V
Red = High 4.2V
Ease of Use
The Puffco Plus is very easy to use and is pretty much self-explanatory to someone who has used a wax pen style vaporizer before. To power on the Puffco Plus simply press the cloud power button five times rapidly like most pen vaporizers. It will blink a couple times to show you the device is powered on and ready for use. Unscrew the Dart cap mouthpiece on the top of the device and then pack your waxy material in the ceramic chamber/oven. Once you’ve finished, put the dart cap back on, and select your preferred temperature setting to vape your waxy material. Once you’ve found your temperature setting, press and hold the cloud power button while drawing from the device, with long and slow pulls for best results.
Battery Life
The Puffco Plus is equipped with a 510-thread battery that can last up to around 50 solid hits. You cannot gauge a timeframe on the length of battery since this device only heats up upon pressing the button and each user would use this device differently but it can easily go a week on one charge depending on frequency of use. Charging the Plus is very easy you just screw the 510-thread battery into the charger and plug the USB into a power source. It will light up red and turn green when it is done charging and it takes about an hour and half to 2 hours to charge.
Final Thoughts
The Puffco Plus is very discreet, super efficient, very easy to use and most importantly designed with tools the make your experience using the device enjoyable. It is perfect for on the go usage and it’s dart cap design comes in handy for many things like loading your product and helping with the airflow design. The battery lasts along time as well for extended use on the go without having to worry about charging it every couple of hours. I don’t have anything to say that’s negative about this device and priced at $100 it’s easily a fierce competitor to other products in it’s price range.
