This will be a preliminary review of the Puffco Pro, one of the newest vape pens to hit the market. When we get our hands on one, we will be doing a full review, but this is just to go over what you get with the pen and our initial thoughts on it.
So, without further adieu, let’s get into it.
How the PuffCo Pro Works
Like most vape pens, the Puffco Pro is overall very simple. It has one button, used to adjust voltage and to activate the coil.
The three voltage settings are:
- GREEN = Low
- BLUE = Medium
- RED = High
You adjust these by tapping the power button 4 times.
To turn the unit on and off, click the button 5 times.
As far as loading the unit goes, you place 0.1-0.3 grams of concentrate onto the coil and pulse it (pressing the button for about half a second a few times) to melt in the concentrate. After that, you’re ready to go.
The Atomizer
The atomizer that comes with this unit is good, but it is by no means the best material on the market. It uses titanium wire and ceramic, which are good, but quartz is what most people prefer now a days.
While I personally like ceramic, the coils look like they will not provide enough surface area to vaporize all the concentrate that may melt down into the chamber. Just something to think about.
That being said, it looks like the coils do work and they do exactly what they are made to do. Once we can get one to test, we’ll know for sure.
“Final Thoughts”
Because testing has yet to be done, there can’t really be a “Final Thoughts” section yet. It’s a good looking unit, which is currently sold out on their website, so that has to say something.
Stay tuned for the final verdict!
